Before we recommend anything, we ask one question.

Where does your organisation actually stand with AI today?

We help organisations at every stage of their AI journey: assessing where they actually stand, adopting what fits, and advancing with governance that holds as they scale.

About Consultaix

Turning AI readiness into real-world results.

Consultaix helps organisations navigate AI readiness, governance and implementation with clarity and rigour. We assess where an organisation stands before recommending technology, then help translate that understanding into practical adoption and measurable progress.

Our approach connects strategy, governance, data, organisational capability and implementation, so that AI adoption is grounded in what the organisation can realistically absorb and sustain.

  • SME & organisational focus

Practical approaches designed around organisational realities.

  • Research-backed

Evidence and structured assessment before recommendation.

  • Measurable outcomes

Move from capability to demonstrable organisational value.

  • End-to-end advisory

From readiness and governance through implementation.

Why readiness first

Most AI programmes fail before they start.

Not because the technology is wrong, but because the organisation was not ready to absorb it. The same three failures recur in the projects we have reviewed.

  1. The tool is bought before the question is asked.A vendor sets the agenda, and the business case is written backwards from the product.
  2. Governance arrives after the incident.Policy, accountability and risk are added once something has already gone wrong with data or a decision.
  3. Capability sits with two people. The pilot works while they are in the room, and stalls the week they are not.

One sequence, in a fixed order. Each stage produces the evidence the next is scoped against.

  1. Assess Readiness across strategy, governance, data, capability and execution Placement on the AI Adoption Ladder™ and a prioritised roadmap
  2. Adopt Implementation scoped to what the assessment says can be absorbed Phased delivery with adoption measured, not just deployment
  3. Advance Governance designed in as adoption scales, informed by ISO/IEC 42001 Accountable, compliant, trusted AI that holds without us

Faaleh M. Sookye

Founder & Lead Advisor

Digital Transformation & AI Strategy. Mauritius, working internationally.

Faaleh has spent more than fifteen years in operations, programme delivery and digital transformation, across telecommunications in Malaysia and training and enterprise development in Mauritius. In that time he has reviewed and assessed over 200 SME transformation projects. That is where the Consultaix method comes from: organisations rarely fail at buying technology. They fail at being ready for it.

He is a doctoral candidate researching AI readiness in Mauritian SMEs, developing and validating a theory-anchored readiness instrument. That research is the basis of the AI Adoption Ladder™ and of AiReady.mu.

Consultaix is founder-led. Specialist AI, governance and implementation expertise is brought in on a fractional basis as each engagement requires, and every client deals with Faaleh directly.
